Each of the five (5) volumes of this set is 17″ by 13 1/4″. Each volume contains stories of ten (10) grand operas (mostly of the nineteenth century), for a total of 50. The story for each opera is illustrated with a full page print, and there are many other illustrations (over 100 in all).
The spines of these volumes are worn, and there are some loose pages. The internal text for all volumes is in very good condition.
