Floria Tosca avowed that she had lived for Art, and for Love. Scarpia did not share her values, and we all know how that turned out! Among the things with which I fill my life are fine art (in all its media), literature (from the classics to contemporary fiction), classical music (especially including opera, oratorio, song, and ballet), history, travel, languages, fundamentals of other disciplines, and categories of what I term “people, places, things, and events.” This web site is my effort to find others with whom I can share my interest in and love of these things.
