Hand-carved Duck’s Egg with porcelain egg cup and bell-glass cover

Elaborately hand-carved duck’s egg. I have not been able to identify the origin of the porcelain egg cup. The bell glass cover and wood base were purchased by special order at a store in Wilmette, Illinois, which sells fine glass ware.

$ 70.00

Ten (10) hand-carved wood animals.

In 1955 my father’s travels took him to Asia. In 1963 he was in Africa. In the early 1970s he visited South America. During his trips he purchased these figures of animals, indigenous to the regions he visited, each hand-carved from exotic woods.

If sold separately I would charge a total of $150.00 for these artifacts. Sold together as a set I offer them for $100.00.
