Selected Authors, Novels, Characters

This posting will not please many (most?) of my viewers. It may even irritate you. The subject matter is selective; it is highly subjective. I started with a group of my favorite authors. Next I chose from the novels of these authors a significant character who appears in a series of works by this writer. I then selected one of the most familiar in the series of novels by this author featuring this character. To this list I added a number of other popular authors, characters, and novels of the same genre (crime, espionage) of an older, more “classical” vintage, to lend substance and relevance to this presentation. It would be only by pure chance that you, my viewer, share with me my interest in all (most, many?) of these (newer, but even those older) authors, characters, and novels, but, if you do I would welcome the opportunity to communicate with you to engage in a discussion relating to our common interest. To all of my viewers, however, I say: just enjoy the challenge and see how many of these entries with which you are familiar, and be pleased with that degree of participation.

Match the Characters, with the correct Authors, and the appropriate Novels.
